A few days ago I received an email from Brian Teeman, one of the guys behind My Jeneration, describing his experiences with EventList while adjusting it to the needs of the project. Received feedback about the experiences EventList users made with our work is an important factor when we decide in which direction our development strategy goes. But Brian got one step further and also describes his hacks which could be interesting for some of you.

After our succesfull two previous test releases we are happy to announce the third development test release from EventList 0.9 for Joomla! 1.5. Thank's to all the testers who are played with EventList 0.9 and provided feedback in the meantime.
This release offers besides the huge amount of bugfixes a few new features and improvements:
  • In the  image select screen it is now possible to delete images
  • A new screen got introduced: "Housekeeping". Currently you can now delete unused venue and event images with one click.
  • Some performance improvements.

Check out the Frontend of the current development version of EventList 0.9. All public viewable Layouts are linked in the Menu and most of the additional features are activated. If you have not the opportunity to test it yourself, this is the chance to have a first look at the coming Eventlist.
